Formed in Dublin 2023, Affection to Rent’s unique brand of grunge fuses dark winding vocal melodies with a warm wash of nostalgia. Between moments of thick and heavy execution to etherial and personal numbers, their live sets are a cathartic experience with a contagious feeling of desperation and longing. Raw and honest delivery is backed by a familiar foundation of influence from Echo and the Bunnymen, Foofighters, PJ Harvey, Kings of Leon, and Smashing Pumpkins.
Originally from Oxford, Singer-Songwriter Abbey Addenbroke-Sheriff moved from her home near Bristol after being chosen personally by the members of Fontaines D.C. to persue a songwriting course in Ireland.
